After all, in my ten months of blogging I did not exactly reinvent the blogging wheel, did I.</p>
<p>Seriously,  do you celebrate the milestones in your blogging? I do, but not in terms of subscriber numbers or by any other metrics. I realize so much still needs to be done  in this blog.   I’m sharing some of the lessons I’ve learned, including those that  gave me sleepless nights as all hard lessons do.</p>
<ul>
<li>It pays to use simple words.  These days <a href="http://www.writingtoexhale.com/2009/01/curious-case-of-discombobulated-reader.html" target="_blank">I refrain from using fancy words like I used to.</a> Result?  Increase in readership engagement.</li>
