Heather Kephart is a happily married wife to Dennis, mother of Joe and Lily, and stepmother to Brian and Dennie. They live, love and laugh together in the Southern California desert.

She Blogs, Tweets, Facebooks, crochets and actively studies the art of writing in pursuit of her dream of becoming a novelist. She worked in the Financial Services industry for 13 years, retiring unexpectedly when her son Joe was born in December of 2006. Her daughter Lily Rose was born in 2008. It took her a while to learn the ropes of stay at home domesticity (boy howdy!), but she is slowly learning her way around a kitchen and slop mop. Blogging, and sharing her domestic and writing adventures with you, is what keeps her relatively sane.
