It’s the lazy person’s ultimate fantasy: Go to bed, do absolutely NOTHING, and earn a “passive income” online. Wake up to million-dollar checks pouring through your mail slot, flooding your entryway – wait, there’s a problem with that scenario. Too many checks in the entry, and you can’t get out the front door to enjoy your neighbor’s envious admiration of the Lamborghini gracing your driveway. Never mind how you’re going to afford the gas for that sweet little ride at $4/gallon – that’s tomorrow’s dream!

Well, a free WordPress plugin called Better Recent Drafts is exactly what it says it is, better recent drafts listed on your WordPress dashboard.

Reputation, in layman terms is essentially how or what people or businesses think about our name or brand. Usually, a formed opinion about how trustworthy, credible, reliable, etc., our name or brand is, what “reputation” is all about. Building a good reputation is extremely important, specially nowadays, where the internet makes it easier for anyone to “find” information about you or your company. Having a good reputation opens doors for business, and when things start heading south, you may be at risk of loosing credibility and everything else associated with “poor” reputation.

While this is pretty straight forward, the problem is how to monitor what is being said about our reputation. It is very easy in today’s technological advancement for anyone, even competitors, to “bad mouth” us, and while building a good reputation is hard as it is, rebuilding it, is even worst. In most cases, depending on how bad things goes, it is probably even better to start all over again.

Just picture someone saying or posting all over the place about you or your company being a scam, bad support, etc. The damage that such negative information can harm you is extreme. Sadly, most of the time, such things happens without you even knowing about it, and when you finally here about it, the damage has already been done. This is why an internet reputation management service can be of value.

Internet Reputation Management helps you control and monitor what people see, when, for example, they search for your name or brand on search engines. This seems easy enough, but in reality, it requires a great and sophisticated knowledge on how search engines and the internet as a whole works. Social media, news sites, blogs, forums, etc., are just but a few channels where people can say things about you without knowing. Trusting your reputation management to just someone, is most certainly unwise, and choosing the right partner in this case is of utmost importance.

While there are many companies that provide such services, one that is particularly interesting is Reputation.com. They provide a service dubbed, ReputationDefender, a revolutionary service designed just to deal with all things related to Internet reputation management. If you are looking for someone to help you with managing your online reputation, consider looking at what the have to offer, as part of your decision process. After all, you do want your reputation being managed by a reputable company, right?

A company called Reputation Changer has long stood out as one of the premier members of its industry. That’s an impressive feat in any line of work, but it’s especially true given that this is a reputation management company—and that the industry in question is notorious for constantly changing.

Indeed, reputation management companies have little choice but to constantly adapt. That’s because the work they do is so dependent on the inner workings of search engines like Google, Yahoo, and Bing. When a client approaches a reputation management firm, it is generally with the desire to see a particularly nasty piece of publicity pushed from the top of a search results page to… well, as far down as it can possibly go.

That may sound straightforward on the surface, but in reality, it’s anything but. That’s because a company in the reputation management industry has to base all its suppression strategies on the way the search engine algorithms work, and those algorithms are constantly changing. Google’s actually change several hundred times a year. So for a company like Reputation Changer, there’s really no choice but to evolve right along with the search engines.

That’s exactly what Reputation Changer does, and it goes a long way toward explaining why this company is always named as one of the best in its field. Just a couple of months ago, for instance, Google announced its latest “Panda” patch, basically meaning that it was increasing its efforts at filtering out low-quality websites. The top reputation management companies immediately responded by tweaking their own strategies, prioritizing high-caliber content to avoid getting burned by Panda.

All of this is just to say that, when it comes to reputation management firms, not all companies are created equal. Many of them work from the same, tired template, time after time—but as frequently as search engines reinvent themselves, the cookie cutter approach just doesn’t work very well.
